Shaping the Basin: Voices of Service
As part of America’s 250 celebration, Voices of Service is a special podcast online exhibition that preserves and shares the personal stories of Oregon veterans and active-duty service members. Each recorded interview explores the motivations, experiences, sacrifices, and lessons of military service while highlighting the lasting impact these individuals have on their communities.
The exhibition invites the public to listen, reflect, and connect with the people behind the uniforms, offering a meaningful perspective on patriotism, leadership, resilience, and service. By capturing these voices during the America 250 commemoration, the project creates a lasting historical record that honors those who have served and inspires future generations.
