The weekend is packed with events to commemorate the sacrifice of those who have served our country. The Reedsport Memorial Day Parade will start at 1:00 PM on Sunday, May 24th, 2026, at Reedsport Community Charter School and end at Hahn Park.

After the parade, a Memorial Ceremony will be held at Hahn Park to honor our local heroes who have fallen while serving our country. The ceremony will provide an opportunity for the community to come together and pay tribute to the fallen heroes. The event will include a solemn presentation of the colors, a playing of Taps, and a reading of the names of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Other events taking place during the weekend include the Fourth Annual Memorial Show & Shine, Meet, Greet, & Honor with Threadbare Quilters presenting Quilts of Honor, a Veteran’s Dinner, a Patriotic Concert, and a Memorial Day Service at the Reedsport Masonic Cemetery.
