Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo

For nearly a century, the Jefferson County Fair has celebrated the people, agriculture, and traditions that define our community. First held in September 1931, the inaugural fair was such an important community event that local schools closed for two days so families could attend. Many of the same elements of the first fair continue to bring people together today.

The mission of the Jefferson County Fair has remained remarkably consistent: to showcase local agriculture, livestock, arts, industry, and community achievement while providing education and entertainment for all ages.

The 2026 Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo carries that legacy forward with rodeo events, exhibitions, livestock competitions, and a full schedule of family activities. As Oregon commemorates its 250th anniversary, the Jefferson County Fair remains a living tradition — honoring our past while bringing the community together to celebrate the present and future.
