14th Annual Marshfield High School Memorial Day Assembly

Marshfield High School cordially invites active-duty military, veterans, their guests, and all other community members to attend the 14th Annual Memorial Day Assembly as we celebrate America’s 250th anniversary. For 2026, the assembly will honor the sacrifices of our veterans by highlighting selected MHS staff and alumni who served in conflicts from World War I to Operation Enduring Freedom. MHS’s Coast Guard JROTC will lead the Presentation of the Colors. The assembly will also include selections by the Marshfield Choir and the Band of Pirates. A reception with light refreshments and conversation will follow. There will also be a special photo opportunity for veterans attending with their current MHS students. Vintage military vehicles will be parked in front of the Auditorium. Also visit the display on the MHS front lawn that recognizes the 35 young men connected with the Coos Bay School District 9 who died in service. Shuttle service will be available from Blossom Gulch School.
